With the first week of a little extra daylight, we’re going to celebrate by getting back on the trails! It is still winter, so hitting the dirt again means we’ll also be hitting a bit of mud and snow that’s still on the ground. If you’re planning on running for more than an hour, be sure to still bring a headlamp!
Tuesday March 12: Meet at the East Keystone Trailhead at 5:45 PM. Run up Keystone Canyon to Three Trees and then turn around for 8 miles total.
Thursday, March 14: Meet at Woodchuck at 5:45 PM and run past the Thompson Trailhead to the High Road. Continue to the top of the Hole in the Wall and then drop down to the Ditch. Run back to Woodchuck on the Ditch for 8ish miles
Saturday, March 16: Meet at Ranch San Rafael near the visitor center at 8:00 AM and run to the top of Evan’s Canyon to the Radio Towers. Continued to the Pond and up through Poeville Canyon to the maintenance road. Depending on the snow, push up the road another 2ish miles for 11 miles out and then turn around and run back the way you came for about 22 miles total. This out and back has plenty of options for all! Expect some mud and snow!
