Here are this week’s runs: Tuesday, Nov. 5: Meet at Huffaker School, 5:45 p.m., and run Bartley/the Pasture/Country Estates Loop/the Pasture/Windy Hill and back to the school for 5ish miles or extend the route from Windy Hill up Evans, down Ridgeview back to Lakeside and the school for 7ish miles;
Thursday, Nov. 7: It’s the first Thursday night hill run! Meet at Eclipse Running, 5:45 p.m., and run Lakeside up Manzanita, turn right on Dant, left and up Pioneer, right and down Skyline, left on Moana (it quickly turns right into Granite), left on Corey, right on Hilltop, left and UP Belford, right on Rodney. At this point you have two choices: Shorter route — continue straight on Rodney, left on Markridge, then quick right up Hunter Lake, right on Webster, left on Sharon, quick right on Pineridge, left on Rosewood, right on Arlington, left on Urban, right on Plumas, left on Country Club to Virginia Lake, right on Lakeside back to Eclipse for 6ish miles; Longer route — from Rodney, turn left and UP Marthiam, right on Susileen, right on Markridge, left and UP Hunter Lake, right on Webster, left on Sharon, right on Pineridge, left on Rosewood, left on Arlington, right on Plumb, right on Watt, left on Country Club down to Virginia Lake, right on Lakeside and back to Eclipse for close to 9 miles;
Saturday, Nov. 9: Meet at the bottom of Toll Road at 7 a.m. and run to Virginia City Highlands Fire Station via Cartwright Road (almost 7 miles); if that’s enough, turn around and run back down, or extend the run at the Fire Station and keep going out Lousetown Road as far as you need to go before turning around and running back down Cartwright/Toll Road.
